What is important is getting the right resources, the right tools, and the appropriate level and frequency of access to your coach based on your level of commitment and need.

All of Manuel’s Coaching Programs are month-to-month with no minimum term and no contract. All Coaching Programs follow the same simple format in that they provide for a set number of Coaching Sessions each month plus email and phone support in between sessions. Then, depending on the program selected, there are some great Client Exclusive Benefits added on that are specifically designed to drive your success. In addition, you are welcome to all the knowledge you can digest from Manuel throughout the sessions. He even has a Coach on Call program specifically designed for clients who want access to their coach but do not currently need the rigid, scheduled weekly calls. The ideal intention at this level is to train the trainers and mentor the leaders, leveraging collaboration and knowledge management within the organization to establish and solidify it as a learning organization.

The weekly sessions will ideally focus on whatever is most important and in the best interest of the organization as a whole to get to the Next Level. The focus can be an individual, team, program, event, or roadblock, and the work will drill down to whatever level is required. Some suggested Success Paths include: Knowledge Management Systems, Project Management, Mastering Online Collaboration, Team Building, and Communications Quality.

The monthly Focus on Finance session will be a top-level look at the Roadmap to Success and business strategy paired with a close look at Corelytics™, Service-Leadership™ standings, and the bottom line. Ideally, the progress and success of the company is measured and shared with the Balanced Scorecard.

Essential Program (Coach on Call)

EssentialThe Essential Program is also referred to as the Coach on Call Program and is ideal for individuals, teams, and organizations that do not currently need a high level of coaching, but do value access to their coach. It can provide just enough mentoring or coaching to keep you moving forward along your Roadmap to Success, or it can be used as a “get acquainted” or “stepping stone” level of engagement.

This program does not require a set coaching day or time each month, but if not set, sessions must be scheduled several days ahead of time. There is no requirement for specific goals to be set in this program, but as always, it is highly suggested there be some ongoing Success Paths in play. Either way, you are free to call and schedule your session any time and to email your coach at any time regarding anything.

This program does not provide for access to the Client Exclusive Benefits.

The Complete Business Analysis is designed to build a concise understanding of the entire business and to construct the detailed Roadmap to Success for the organization. Along the way, Manuel will become very familiar with the key people and inner workings of the organization, and everyone involved will gain important perspective of the opportunities and challenges the organization is facing.

SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. A SWOT Analysis is a comprehensive discovery, organization, and presentation of the internal and external factors that are favorable and unfavorable as related to the achievement of the company’s purpose.

A Business Profile is a questionnaire focusing on many areas of the company including Business Plan, Finance, Service, and Procedures, to name just a few. The Business Profile is designed to develop an accurate perspective of the true condition and health of the inner workings of the business.

Personal Profiles are performed for each of the key team members and are comprised of a DiSC Assessment and a questionnaire. The assessment and questionnaire are designed to allow Manuel to become familiar with an individual as well as help the team gain important insight into each other.

The Corelytics Financial Vital Signs Report™ helps identify which areas of your business are fine and which need some help. This report allows us to spot your top 3 focus areas and is invaluable when assessing the business overall. This tool is an exclusive product provided by Corelytics™, the leading Financial Dashboard to help you manage your business, and Manuel is a Corelytics™ Certified Small Business Advisor.

The Roadmap to Success takes everything revealed by the SWOT and organizes it into Short, Medium, and Long-term Goals, Objectives, Strategies, Plans, and Actions. Not everything in the Roadmap to Success will be fully clarified or detailed beyond the Timeline and Goals in the first pass at building it out. Subsequent company stakeholder meetings will continue to add detail and clarity until the Roadmap to Success is complete, and ensure it is maintained.

The Strategy Map is a simple diagram used to document the primary strategies and goals that will be pursued by the business once they have been identified by the SWOT, clarified in the Roadmap to Success, and targeted in the Balanced Scorecard. The Strategy Map is to be shared with all levels of the company because it is the graphical representation of the clear path to success that everyone in the business is following.

A Core Competency Matrix is a spreadsheet detailing Key Personnel of the organization, Core Competencies the organization supports, Key Technologies the organization utilizes, and the Key Clients the organization serves. The Core Competency Matrix clarifies the mastery and depth of coverage for those things most important to the company and the client.

The Balanced Scorecard is an effective strategy execution framework designed to help an organization articulate metrics and strategy in actionable terms. The Balanced Scorecard typically focuses on the top three goals for each of the four specific Business Perspectives: Finance, Customer, Process, and Learning and Development. The top three goals are determined by the SWOT and the Roadmap to Success, and they must have an associated metric that allows measurement of progress.

Once all the profiles are completed and analysis data compiled, the organization liaison will work directly with Manuel to identify the metrics, goals, objectives, and strategies that feed the Roadmap to Success, the Strategy Map, and Balanced Scorecard. The entire process can take anywhere from days to weeks, a time frame that is largely dependent on the timeliness of the client company in completing required tasks. The level of detail and the quality of the resulting Roadmap to Success, Strategy Map, and Balanced Scorecard will be directly proportional to the effort invested by the client company.

A Complete Business Analysis is rarely required before coaching can begin for an entire organization, however there are great benefits to performing one before beginning your coaching program with Manuel. With the Complete Business Analysis, everyone involved has an accurate perspective of the true condition and health of the inner workings of the business. Additionally, Manuel is completely familiar with your company, team, and your Roadmap to Success. A Complete Business Analysis is required if the business is considering a merger, acquisition, seeking venture capital, or when the company is in need of complete turnaround to stay alive.

Personal ProfileThe Personal Profile is comprised of the following tools:

Depending on your goals and desired direction, this can be an extremely important tool in building your Roadmap to Success and progressing along it. The first step is to provide a personalized DiSC Assessment that will increase your self-knowledge about how you respond to conflict, what motivates you, what causes you stress, and how you solve problems.

Next is a questionnaire designed to help Manuel become familiar with your personal likes, dislikes, interests, and much more, including the possibility of gaining a better insight of your current self. Finally, you have a lunch session with Manuel to go over everything and get in tune and up to speed on what is relevant to building your Roadmap to Success. By performing a Personal Profile, every following coaching session can be closer to 100% workout and less about becoming acquainted.

Travel Expenditures

Travel Expense

When travel to a client location is called for, Manuel typically requires transportation, accommodations, and daily expense costs to be covered by the client for venues more than 100 miles (160km) outside his base location. All travel and accommodations are booked at standard business level wherever and whenever possible.

Air travel is always booked non-stop when available and cross continent and intercontinental travel is always first class.

Expenses:

o Travel Tickets (air, train, etc.) must be prepaid
o Automobile Rental must be prepaid (Based on reservation quote)
o Additional Transportation costs will be tracked and is to be reimbursed
o Hotel Stay must be prepaid (Based on reservation quote)
o Gas/Petrol Cost will be tracked and is to be reimbursed
o Meals and Incidental Expenses are $200 US per day prepaid
